50 States - 100 Bike Blogs

Jason from the blog 100 KM - The Metric Century has put together his list of 50 States - 100 Bike Blogs and saw fit to add Bike Commuting in Columbus to his list! Thanks very much, Jason.

The other Ohio blog picked was Rick Logue's My Two Mile Challenge. It's a Columbus sweep! :)

People, not speed.

  2. You're at the Columbus, Ohio checkpoint in the MONKEY ELECTRIC ALLEYCAT.

Your skills test at this checkpoint - trackstand for at least 30 seconds, then move on to the Next stop: Go to Masiguy's blog for the next checkpoint! (ah, I'm making you type it in this time).

  3. w00t! I've been drumming my fingah's waiting for this comment. Thanks to Jamie for hosting this little game.

I was born in Columbus, but alas I've only been back once since I was 5 years old.

  5. Hi, all you alleycat racers! :) I apologize for holding you up on the route to your prize, but I was trying to get back home when I was engulfed by teeming masses of Ohio State fans who were rioting after their comeback victory against... um... a MAC school.

It took me a while to get to my desk and approve Fritz's comment! I've set the comment moderation to OFF for the duration of the alleycat and I hope you all enjoy! Good luck. And to whoever wins, see if you can get the Monkey Electric lights to spin with something like "Who needs gas?"

  7. It doesn't surprise me that the two blogs from colorado are ultracyclists of one sort or another. I guess the mountains make us do crazy things.

Congrats on being part of the ring.
