The last week has been utterly crazy, leaving me no time to blog. But I'm making up for it today!
First - Columbus City Council voted to adopt the Bike Plan as recommended by Alta Planning wholesale! That's right, that means that all those wonderful ideas are headed for a street near you! For more, visit Alta Planning's website for the Columbus Plan!
Second, Consider Biking and the Columbus cycling community all pitched in and gave Justin Richie a new bike to replace the one he lost when he was hit by a former Columbus Police Officer in Grove City. There was a Dispatch article about the event and Justin's thanked everyone publicly on the Consider Biking forums. Nice job, everyone, and Justin, enjoy the bike!
