Timing is Everything

After the last few days of last week, I decided it was time for me to pick up some technical clothing to keep warm and comfortable on my rides, so I grabbed some UnderArmor ColdGear stuff from Dick's Sporting Goods at Easton. Just one top, as I wouldn't be wearing it all day, but it's sleek enough that it'll help with the bulkiness under my jacket. And I have my wet-weather pants to wear for the "other" problem.

So, what happened? Well, the past two days I've been wearing SHORTS on my trips to work! It's been in the sixties - a 50-degree jump!

Glad I spent money on the ColdGear stuff... though obviously this weather won't last forever. Sigh.

People, not speed.

  1. Same thing happens when you wash your car or water the lawn: IT RAINS! :-)

  2. Timing and planning is important. Last spring I picked up snow broader gloves and ski googles for next winter at local sporting goods stores at deep discount.

Make sure the gloves are flexible enough to operate brakes and shifters. Ski googles need to be easy to operate with winter gloves.
